Say what??

What comment? I don't tear people up here, you know that. Which poem? And that thing about me being in a bitching fest with Joe in the chat room, I have NEVER been to the chat room so who is playing computer tag here? I am beginning to think that someone is hacking names and starting trouble. What is going on?? K. Mulroney

oh, and the poem itself

good, sincere stuff. Needs some editing, fine tuning, etc. Obviously more of an "on the fly" kind of quasi conversational piece, but all the recent BS aside, I like it. Sorry for the less than detailed review, my daughter was up all night with an ear infection (103 fever, OUCH!) so I'm operating on about 1 hours sleep.

As to Mark's comment on this piece ...

I am in total agreement. As to his daughter ... well, about all I can say is that I'm in an entirely different stage of life. (Though I don't want to appear insensitive: Body heat of 103 is the kind of temp that would concern me.) My hat's off (that's figurative, of course, since I hardly own a hat; they've probably become too expensive nowadays) to the author of this appropriately fine piece about the zoo and its zoobies. Regards, Chuck

God bless your stubborness

Only the stubborn survive. I do believe this is the first fully rhymed piece of yours that I've read, forgive me if I'm wrong. Deftly done. Just loved the line "actor of the literary fisted". Sorry it's about recent events but I think it transcends that. cheers, Jess
