Poor George W

He is a man out of time,

he would have been so much happier

as a member of the Inquisition,

in medieval times.

With instruments of torture in his hands,

and blood on his hands,

he could have gone home happily to his wife and kids,

satisfied with a days work well done

and pray to his god,

content and well satisfied.

"Dubya"

is the way we derogatorily pronounce "W" in "G. W. Bush" Yeah, looking forward to seeing Joe's quirky, cranky ass back here. (That's back HERE, not back HAIR!) Mark

Poor, poor George Dubya...

Journalist Robert Draper has published a new book this week, "Dead Certain: The Presidency of George Bush". Draper interviewed Bush for several hours, eliciting the confession that, "I've got God's shoulder to cry on, and I cry a lot." Poor George! Poor God! Bush further told Draper that he plans to "replenish the ol' coffers" by giving speeches after he leaves office - "I don't know what my dad gets -- it's more than 50-75" (thousand dollars per speech) "and Clinton's making a lot of money..." Poor, Poor George W! Reverend Bec Hudson Shine Your Light It's the ONLY Way to Get Rid of the Darkness!

or

maybe he would have been happier as a wheelchaired gangster who, feigning insanity to beat the rap constantly, could order torture and cold blooded murder--an position with the inquisition would be too "hands on" for him, you know? a necessary poem if ever there was one.

I like this poem

it may very well be true and i definatlly can see how we can feel like this whether American or not. though, we must remember that Bush is not the man with all the power of America he is just the man that represents power, it is our congress, legislature and all of us as well who make decisions, whether it is approving his war, giving him advice, or voting him into office twice. he represents all Americans for those that are Americans. Just to give him the benifit of the doubt. Its cool though that you use your power of words to fight for what you believe in.

so true

I am deeply embarrassed to be an Australian right now, but it looks like we are finally going to get rid of that racist sycophantic prick, John Howard. cheers, Jess

Too play devils advocate...

I think george carlin said it best when he said if you have ignorant selfish, dishonest citizens then you elect ignorant, selfish, dishonest politicians (prarphrasing); but I do like the reference to the inquisition.

MY feelings about Australia

We have re-elected John Howard twice, and if Australia was as powerful as USA he would be much more dangerous, he is not just a racist fascist, he is also intelligent, at least we can laugh at George W. because he is such a buffoon. cheers, Jess

Probably opening myself up

Probably opening myself up for a fight of phenomenal proportions, but I believe that any president is only what his administration can make of him. As a man, I cannot find it in me to hate George Bush. I may not agree with everything he has done, but I cannot hate him. Okay. I shall now duck the flying vegetables and fruits. Very best, Ronda
