this is a rough one...I´d suggest to change the firt 4 lines to: Neither demon nor angel Neither chaos nor order The last two lines are gripping and work fine despite the fractured sentence structure. No offense! ID

Different ends of the spectrum

Positive/negative, day/night ... demon/angel, chaos/order. I find myself considering each and always preferring the darker of the two. Perhaps this is why my sleep, when sleep does come, is filled with nightmares and vast, empty dreamscapes. Maybe it is my insomnia talking, but this piece leaves me slightly melancholy. No worries. I'm cheered by the use of one of my favorite words at the very end. Don't you just love the way "ethereal" looks and sounds?
