Victim of Changes

blood painted walls
reserve the victims
slashing
for a while longer

the murder scene
the shocked police officers
build up the atmosphere
to a crescendo of sombre

a cold
shivering wind
disturbs the torn curtains
a dog howls 
like a tormented wolf

a once
innocent life
lost forever
to a senseless act
of mindless brutality
