Parchment

A very nice piece of personification with a little poignancy mixed into the humour. If I was inclined to nit-picking there would be only one small problem as I see it - technically, real parchment [or vellum] is made from calfskin, sheepskin or goatskin. You can always plead poetic licence - you can buy 'parchment paper!' On second thoughts, what am I rambling on about? - it's fine as it is. How the Sapling Swooned...

i am more than impressed by this piece, especially the second stanza. i think it did not get the recognition it deserves.
