Spew Upon the Footlights

stability in the rail
as we approach
a curtain soaked stage
sways of nausea
stable only
after each step
when every question
is explained away
as theatrics
superstitions
creative blunders
stress blocking
jumbled with lines
scripts cued
among impulses to
improvise
or just
take down the house
in a crash of sweet sick
A grin for
expectations
of a performer
so much for
a block buster

oh no

We're back to the spewing and chucking again? {inside joke.... pay no attention} "A grin for expectations of a performer." - Great line, and such is life. Put on a happy face, and move forwards. Good job, David. ~Jess ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ~ "Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the hell is the ceiling??"
