Girl Meets Boy

Boy Meets Girl

His heart skips a beat
as he watches her walk by

mindful not to scare her
he followed at a distant

she pulls a dress from the store rack
wondering if it would fit

he gently speaks
will look lovely on you

with butterflies in her tummy
she softly ask, you think so?

with a frog in his throat
he clumsily says, on you can only be

My my my

This is lovely my friend. Conversations in poems are hard and you did it! You are just full of surprises and that is what I like about your poetry. Always a surprise and always good. Rett: Nancy Astor: “Sir, if you were my husband, I would give you poison.” Churchill: “If I were your husband I would take it.”

Smiles:) Barbara thanks for commenting and reading. left the ending in limbo for any who would imagine what they want the ending to be. wrote a part 2 to this while my mind is in tune for this style of writing. just started writing and this was born. seems rather a boring subject, but relationships happens every day. really appreciate your input
