I am life! (prose)

“Who am I?”,
is the question I have always pondered.Am I life?,the intricate part that intertwine with every living being in constant fluxing,
tying one existence to another that all goes back to the first cell,
continually dividing and multiplying adding to the tapestry of life. When I stop and look around,
I can see who I am by looking at all the people that I engage with.I constantly take in small increments of each life and incorporated it into mine,
without slightly being aware, that it has happenedSo why do I ask, “Who am I”,
rather I should ask, who are they who have help in my creation. Then and only then I'll have the freedom to become, share, and add to everyone else’s without just taking."Who am I?"I am Life!!

I like the message of this

I like the message of this poem, that a person's identity is both internal and external. It encourages engagement and change. It transitions nicely from what is ("Who am I?") to what could be. However, parts of it read more like prose than poetry to me (e.g., lines 8-10). I'm not sure what suggestions to make about this, though. More imagery and less direct instruction, maybe?
