rest your wounds in my shelter
tomorrow when I’ll have to die
you shall give me a kiss

Thy word’s powerfulness
stroke within my core
I’m trembling
my fingers – the proof

shall rest now
it’s the last night

Thee Father my soul
I offer

Hi Marius,

this is a very deep poem with several levels or layers of meaning, I like it a lot. However, I have a suggestion. In l.5, I would prefer this word order: "stroke my core within" Oh, and if you mean more than one word in l.4, it should be words' . Yours, ~Nina

thank you very much

Hi Nina! Glad to see you again and glad you like this poem. Indeed, there are some levels of meaning directed towards past, religion, trust, God. About the fifth line, I will think about that inversion you've suggested. In the fourth line is just one "word". Thank you. Best regards, Marius
