IT’S A TRICK THAT’S ODD
IT’S A TRICK THAT’S ODD
Like all life
I was born from a seed
I was loved
The first day
That I could see
But some how
Life played a trick on me
Every day that I grew
Their was something
Different growing in me
Younger days
This was easy to hide
Those younger days
I needed no pride
But in days
I grew older
With the morals
Of love
The rightfulness
In that trick of life
Made me odd’
I seem to be strong
But I gave all
My heart to any sad song
This was the trick
The stronger I am
Is equal to the more I risk
I will turn back
This trick
And give all
Of myself
My love
My life
Regardless of the risk
So what if I lose
One day I will win
If unconditional love
Is the rule to live
A trick doesn’t play by rules
A rule to trick you
Is what it will use
Sooner or later
Your logic will break
