NATURE MOURNS WITH ME

NATURE MOURNS WITH ME...

Mother Nature is raw
her climes are cold, chaos ridden*                                              with you now gone,  Father Sage is wizened                                                                                                                                          Choleric clouds darken my daysthe sun is distracted -                          The moon’s gone away                           Birds fly featherless,
  the cattle lie low
 flowers hide themselves
afraid to grow                                                         Now it snows when it shines
  rains when I pine
 no more Sunny Days
that I wish could be mine                                                  .
 Asphyxiated days
 choke off Love’s supply
 dousing  fire's flames
 that quickly die.
       .
Darkness leaves no place for vision
Vacuum leaves no space for Air

Wow Jayne! You were so quick and forthcoming with your praise... I was still trying to edit for the last time - guess I'll have to leave the lay out haphazard as it is.... (makes an interesting point though - considering there is chaos about!) Ah! Methinks I wax lyrical. Forgive me - still in composition mode! SOOOO Glad you liked it! Me too :) THanks so much Boni

I too love it BjR

can't EXACTLY say why, it had a mesmeric quality to it, I hung on as I glided down, and hung on yet more as it developed and hung on .........................to the end....................the air. Oddly fascinating Ann of Norway

I too, mourn the death of our planet. If more people don't wake up to what we are doing to our invironment, soon it will be to late to reverse. An excellent write! Always, Cat

tHANK YOU CAT! I'm always so appreciative when you stop by. Interesting that you should do an environmental take on this one. I had meant it more in a personal sense, so much so that I have changed the title from US to ME... Hope that makes sense. Thank you yet again. Bonita j
