RANDOM PATHS

I stumble in your footsteps
because your path is not
for me  Instead i linger in
your shadow close enough
to hear you say,

"follow me if you may
 i am not leading you
 astray "

I don't follow and you don't
lead, our paths are random
life's in tandem

Days come and go
friendships fail or grow
time will tell if we bond
and gel

Conversation between as
pleasant as the warmth of
a gentle breeze,
Linger a while when you talk
I smile .

You are a good poet, and very transparent too, so as for me to see the many bittersweet encounters in your life. People will be people, and Life IS always Life. We just have to learn not to fight it, but learn to flow freely, like the breath of living things. God bless you! Saludos. Hugo.
