SWIFT SEDUCTION

The seconds were precious

All precautions had lapsed

The moment  they  kissed

She felt  her legs collapse .

“Hold on now honey – we’ve got forever

                       To last.”

Only disavowal  to pretend...

 she knew her innocence

  had past.

                     “Don’t predict our Fate

                      it's all just a farse!

And with that she succumbed...

The Trouble her mother once warned  of
had now begun!

This one is a winner in my book. I cannot choose favorite lines because they are all equally as good. I have this feeling that you will revise and update this poem in your quest for perfection, so I will watch for changes. Always, Cat
