Vaudeville Singer
Starllngs fly in the distance
Why do I believe these small black beads to be Starlings
They are so far away
Against a pink powder sky her neck
And the black bushes of trees stretching long
The black fur of her dress
The trailing soft snow
A delicate fringe around her feet
And a pause in the break of a song
This is the mood.
Why do I believe these small black beads to be Starlings

Against a pink powder sky her neck
And the black bushes of trees stretching long
The black fur of her dress
The trailing soft snow
A delicate fringe around her feet
And a pause in the break of a song
