Fearless Daddy...

Daddy, I heard some noise in the kitchen

I thought maybe it was a burglar

So I came out to see

Why would a thief, make a sandwich

Then leave?

Oh yes, I can smell the lunchmeat

The scent of mayo is in the air

Did you scare him away, daddy?

You had to fight him, huh?

He left mayo from the knife on your hands

Hey! I see he left so fast

That he forgot his sandwich

Let's eat it daddy!

I don't think he will come back for it

With us guarding the kitchen

Sandwich making...

I'm glad to make you smile. I was hungery the other night and thought to make a sandwich, Dancer was sound asleep in my room, two rooms away, and i was being quiet because my wife had just gone to bed. Jason's room is off the kitchen, and I didn't want to wake anyone. I got the cold-cuts out, and just had opened the bread wrapper, when I heard Dancer's nails on the floor. I tried to hide what i was doing, but she came over to get a better look, and her face lit right up. I tried to bribe her with a doggie treat, but she ate that in two bites, and then came right back to see how the sandwich making was coming. LOL It must be more difficult with as many animals as you have, I only have the one. Love and hugs, ~ Gee

So sweet, reminds me ask

So sweet, reminds me ask about Jason. How goes the lad Gee. I miss you writing with him. Talk about pure poetry. But this was charming and a wonderful read and write. Maybe dad should answer once, maybe with just a laugh. Just an idea. Julie D.D.

Sweetness is sharing...

At least Dancer seems to think so. Jason is fine, but falling behind in school, in most of his subjects, at least the ones he has lost interest in. He is getting good marks in his new interest, which is Technology, but I fear that as soon as he loses interest in it, that it will go the way of the poetry. I have to go to the school and see about getting him in an after-school studying session, I know that is going to be something he isn't going to like, but I told him that if he didn't get his grades up that it was going to happen. Yes, I think that Daddy should answer Dancer. It might be fun, and get a few laughs. Thanks for the read and comments, ~ Gee
