TREMBLING LIGHT
Twisting stems of glasses
in nervous expectation.
Foliage fights the verdant room
and flooding light
glints in your
eyes,
gentle probes and subtle blushes
we search and catch the
look that holds a
second
too
long.
Feel the lingering aura of
the space.
Come to search my kaleidoscope soul,
you take my hand and turn
the pegs
in round
holes,
they slot into place.
Guided by the crafted truth
of blinding attraction,
so obvious,
it's trembling light
shapes and
smoothes
the pegs.
They fit.
Ellie LaCrosse
in nervous expectation.
Foliage fights the verdant room
and flooding light
glints in your
eyes,
gentle probes and subtle blushes
we search and catch the
look that holds a
second
too
long.
Feel the lingering aura of
the space.
Come to search my kaleidoscope soul,
you take my hand and turn
the pegs
in round
holes,
they slot into place.
Guided by the crafted truth
of blinding attraction,
so obvious,
it's trembling light
shapes and
smoothes
the pegs.
They fit.
