Foiled Again, Dad...

Hey Dog!

Where the hell do you think you're going?

"I'm not going anywhere Dad."

Well, you looked like you were.

"No Dad, I'm just looking around with my nose."

If you go past the car, you will go back inside.

"I won't Dad."

Just remember...

"O.K. Dad."

[My big, brown eyes, get him everytime]

[dum-ti-dum,ti dum...]

[So far, so good...]

DANCER!

"What?"

Where are you?

[Shit!...I thought he was busy.]

"Here I am, Dad."

Oh, ok...I just wondered where you were.

[Phew...He didn't see me...]

[Maybe I should just be cool today]

[There are those new treats...]

Ok... I'll go get the parts.

Dancer!

[Ahhhhh...]

Want a treat?

"Hmmmmm, maybe..."

I got new ones.

[ Hey, this could work out great!]

[ I always get one when he comes back too]

[I just gotta, give him the sad eye look...]

[You left me, sigh...]

"Ok Dad, I'm coming."

[Now don't hurry, make it look like, aw com'on Dad, I was just havin' fun.]

"Aw, right! New treat!" [ Don't be too happy now.]

Be right back, Baby.

Crunch, crunch..."Hurry back, Dad!

very cute

I know how much she likes to wander away from the house!!!! Sabrina, my dog, dug out from under the fence on Halloween so she could go trick or treating with the kids. A neighbor brought her back after she had been through the neighborhood with a group of kids going house to house. She's 125lbs and I still cant figure how she gets under there.....LOL.....talk later

Gee, Gee…..My greatest joy

Gee, Gee.....My greatest joy will be to have a stable enough life to adopt a greyhound. Loved the poem and love you all who love all god's creatures, especially dogs. ~A Words must be used like stepping stones: lightly and with nimbleness, because if you step on them too heavily, you incur the danger of falling into the intellectual mire of logic and reason. - Balsekar

And wait, theres more, yay!!!

Loved it. I loved all of it. This is wonderful Gee. Thank you again. Our dog Rebel is by my side at the mo, with the shits, in trouble for jumping over the visitors and it is past his walk time. He will be off soon, lol. I am really pleased I got to read about Dancer. Sounds like a character. Just like dad, lol. Give Dancer a scratch behind the ears from us all. Love to all, Lyz. XX

Little boy

An enjoyable description of a relationship between a father and son. I both enjoyed and found diffult the script like quality, maybe it was because there was quite a lot of conversation, included. But all in all i liked it.

Actually Lou...

It was between me and my dog, Dancer. She is like my kid. It is often said, that a smart dog, is about as smart as a five or six year old kid, and you know how manipulative they can be. I think I kind of like that you thought it was my kid, [gender aside]. I portrayed her a child, and that is how it came across. ~ Geezer~ P.S. Yeah, I know it has a little script-like quality, but that is the trade-off for realism.
