my twin revolving heart

My darling, I fell
sleeping on the couch
as you went walking,
while motorcycles were weaving
spring sunshine
down smiling Stockholm streets.

Would I not smile
were I not beneath
your treading feet ?
would I not feel
eternity,
between the pleasures
of your footfalls
softly falling ?

As automobiles glide
along these cobbled causeways,
our planets wheel above
as  should I,
always turn
to you,
my twin revolving heart.

...and as an old

...poet friend of Odd Molly's I am so happy to find her again. Here. And to also find hers, and other friends here. And I am so happy to read these so seamlessly soft lines, words of silk that you write to your poet twin. A most beautiful pleasure to feel, makes me remember...a time when love was "over" and tears had fallen to silk, yet here they feel alive within these poetic cobblestones of light. A very nice write, looking forward to reading more. Kindly, Sensoul
