"She-bears"

She bears the future, bares her soul

She bears up, no matter what

Has a heart of cotten-candy

But bears a bully naught

She bears the scars of Cupid's arrows

Bears them proudly, don't you know

She'll bear fodder for the cannons

Can't bear to see them go

She bears injustice in this world

Bears remorse for her mistakes

Bearing children, is a pleasure

It's her bed, she makes

"She -bears" are all around us

I have my own "She-bear"

Despite her snarling PMS

I know, that it's certain that she cares

You don't say?

Yes, this is tongue-in-cheek, and yes, you are lucky and so is Snake. LOL I feel badly for the women who do suffer from it. It cannot be a fun thing. I wrote this to let all you women out there know that we men still love and appreciate you, but most of us know to stay out of the way, when you suffer from it. Love and higgest bugs, ~ Gee

Almost pushed the bear/bear thing too hard, but not quite

At one time I was convinced that every woman I was attracted suffered from near homicidal PMS. Then decided it was all my fault cos I was crazy. Then when I found I had bi-polar I decided my manic cycles sympathetically/catastrophically co-incided with theirs. Now I take it as it comes Love the compassion in this, Cheers, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible

Bear/Bear...

It was supposed to evoke the feeling of compassion. All too often, men tend to see only the aspects that affect themselves, and not the ways that women are affected. ~ Gee

Man Caves...

were the place that men gathered in fear for the lives, and for planning on how to get back in women's good graces. Thanks for the read, ~ Gee

Ok I loved it, in all its charms Gee. But when I read it I wanted like hell to read 'Ursala' somewhere, and I didn't. Form of the she bear, Ursala. I will live, but I don't know. Thanks still and much love for sharing Gee. Julie D.D.

Ursala Major...

I did evoke the bear-like feeling though, didn't I? Is it enough to say, that I would have stuck it in there, if I knew it would make you happy? Happy to share my view of women, ~ Gee

How the hell did I miss this said it was inspired by Julie, lol. I hope you mean me,or the next few sentance are gonna sound silly. I did love the poem. But now it just darn right amazing. Just you wait, you will have your own little diddy before you know it! Julie D.D.

Inspired by...

one of my favorite she-bears! So glad you liked it. I tried to show this unique problem of women, with, as 'elf' says; compassion, and a maybe a little humour. Don't forget, that men are also affected, if only by association with women. LOL I think that men should educate their sons on the issue, as part of the so-called birds and bee's talk. Of course, I have only discovered this after my sons have already been taught by experience.LOL ~ And I am looking forward to that diddy, in rhyme, of course. ~ Gee

Thanks for...

honoring me a second time, I guess that women have taught me at least one lesson. Always keep them guessing and coming back for more. I try hard to be different, and still connect to all my fans. I hope that doesn't make me sound egotistical. Having fans. Love ya, ~ Gee

very nice

At least there is one man in the world who is aware of the presence of PMS in a woman's life and has learned over the years to tolerate it, instead of add to it!!! What a great prospective on the every day struggles of women!!!!! Well written....:)
