MEA CULPA

My fault for not writing
sooner-but the dog
ate the cat and my life
seems withered
and shrunken
with your depart

I'm not culpable
for the bomb-shell
you left round
Cressent Corner
on your last day of
leave

And i'm not blaming
you for the cat incident
but can you please
explain that last
message home?

It really isn't a
missdeed or transgression
if you don't have the
follow through
but the word
said "forever"

Your peccadillo's are
gathering and i'm
getting battle-weary
as you are-
I don't hold you
to account-

Mea Culpa

Don't know what else to say but Mea Maxima Culpa. ~Hugs, Anna "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles
