Populus Propagation
Plant it
In the earthiest depths of my soul
And shower it
With the saccharine syrup
Of your spoken word
And wait for it
To germinate
Just wait…
It will create.
Shower it
In the sedate southern
Summer sunshine of your laughter
And watch it grow…
Feed it,
Feed it with unfettered fascination and
Imagination.
The pollination
Of all creation,
And watch in…
Anticipation
For the flaural show
I invite you to delight in what you know.
Then let it grow
Let it grow…
Let the roots entwine
Inside my heart and
In truncate in side my throat
So the branches sprout out
From my mouth.
Let it cover me completely,
So the sap slips
So sweetly from my lips.
Feast upon its juicy fruits,
Until it seeds itself again.
In you.
In the earthiest depths of my soul
And shower it
With the saccharine syrup
Of your spoken word
And wait for it
To germinate
Just wait…
It will create.
Shower it
In the sedate southern
Summer sunshine of your laughter
And watch it grow…
Feed it,
Feed it with unfettered fascination and
Imagination.
The pollination
Of all creation,
And watch in…
Anticipation
For the flaural show
I invite you to delight in what you know.
Then let it grow
Let it grow…
Let the roots entwine
Inside my heart and
In truncate in side my throat
So the branches sprout out
From my mouth.
Let it cover me completely,
So the sap slips
So sweetly from my lips.
Feast upon its juicy fruits,
Until it seeds itself again.
In you.
