COEUR CONSECRATION

'Enigmatic smile hides
a sea of discontented sediment
but brilliant eyes reflect
like coruscating cubic zircona

Darkly dashing and self-effacing
nonetheless he mines my passions
like a tunneler possessed

Sweep away the fascia layer
break out of the fossil cocoon
new magma untainted
waiting to imprint
novel emblems
onto coeur consecration'

I absolutely love this poem!

I absolutely love this poem! It reminds me a lot - the style - of Mr Viggo Mortensen´s poetry. He is my favourite contemporary poet. He is a famous actor, but his talents are various, and his poetry is particularly amazing. And the writing style of this poem of yours truly reminds me of his. I say this in a positive way. One thing is to copy other authors and not be original at all, another thing is to have a writing style that resembles in some way other authors´work, but remains original. You should check out Mr Mortensen´s poetry. I believe you would fall in love...

"but brilliant eyes reflect" if you want some more suggestions for that line I got a few ideas, great talking to you in chat last night was nice to get some chat time for a change love and hugs Jayne-Chloe ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.-Ivan Panin")

Dear Ells

I remember the French word for heart from the movie "Titanic." Beautiful poem, with great energy and imagery. Favorite lines: Darkly dashing and self-effacing nonetheless he mines my passions like a tunneler possessed Always, Cat
