A FRIEND INDEED
there is little we can do
this night let it wait until
the morn, I see your weary
head sense your yawn.
gone is that which has
passed looking back will
ever last frozen over or
crystal glass rest your mind
tonight is kind.
we all can see and yet are
blind when faced with which
we searched to find.
lay your burden by my side
soaked with tears that you
have cried alone inside,
rest your mind tonight is kind.
close your eyes and fall to
slumber where all your troubles
fall asunder tomorrow we shall
wake until then let it wait.
this night let it wait until
the morn, I see your weary
head sense your yawn.
gone is that which has
passed looking back will
ever last frozen over or
crystal glass rest your mind
tonight is kind.
we all can see and yet are
blind when faced with which
we searched to find.
lay your burden by my side
soaked with tears that you
have cried alone inside,
rest your mind tonight is kind.
close your eyes and fall to
slumber where all your troubles
fall asunder tomorrow we shall
wake until then let it wait.
