Peroxide Matador

Time has spent:
I wave it not -
That woven width of Whitened cloth -
Yet, espouse the value 'round the town.
This trick to turn
(Frowns upside-down)

Let go,
Let go…
And still.

I wave it not.

The whiteness of my cloth is red.
This cloth is but ragged thread.
The heated air of what I've said
Shan’t sail a flag atop my head.

And I will wave it not.

Lest this flag be waved (at last)
By someone else...
On my behalf!

I had to smile on this

I had to smile on this one. Couldn't help but think of a cloth dyed or died red. Inability to surrender, the matador, the white cloth of surrender turned red. Very nice. raskin
