Sense of smell...

Is very powerful. I remember many a time when the smell of something can bring you close to great memories of the people gone in your life. It's like they're right there beside you. Beautiful Chuck. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell

I've got one ...

wonderfully sensitive sniffer/smeller. Tells me when something's gone bad, tells me when something might be edible in my wild backyard, informs me of invisible deer nearby, encourages me to look around for skunk ... somewhere (where, oh where, can she be?), or possum ... And, yes, a startling smell emanating from a restaurant I pass by can time warp-throw me back to childhood and Grandma's saliva-pumping Sunday dinners on the farm. Hugs, Chuck

smell

I liked the subject but the form may read easier if reversed(if I"m reading it right).......scribbler

The reversals ...

in the piece are deliberate. I think they add to the intrigue, the puzzle, forces the reader to proceed slowly, with thought. And they're especially attractive to folks who love the oddness. (The Chinese, after all, do read from right to left; why can't we.) Anyway, it's my favorite style of verse writing. I've got more coming up from the pipeline that're a lot more complex reversewise than this one. Thanx much for the read, the visit, the comment. Hugs (Yup, I hug men, too), Chuck

directions

Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are read vertically in columns from top to bottom and ordered from right to left. In Arabic it's right to left, line by line, top to bottom. Dizzy yet?

How spicy!

I've noticed that sumac can smell like lemon and that cinnamon can smell like allspice. I love you and I love the smell of you. How warming. ♥

Hah!

So you've noticed that too. Spices---and people that smell of them---are amazing. Oh, yeah! Hugs, Chuck

easy reading

Notice that I laid out the sentences in my original comment to you in such a way as to help your other readers pass through your puzzle(s).
