respecting words
==
respecting
words
-
[c]ross the stream where
it is ebbest
---Plutarch's Morals
-
the
fewer
words said the better
when few is just enough to
convey my total meaning
-
a
crafty
write
will draw into an
open brain a thought---maybe
two---it most likely
would
not have thought
otherwise
-
I've
learned
that
employing many
words to pass on a simple
concept that warrants
few
subtracts from
its substance
-
I
mark
voices from the room
beyond next door; and though the
words fall indistinct
on my earnest ear,
their gravid tones inflate with
vital meaning ...
