I was contributing to Neopoet some years back. The name I used was Eumolpus. I was there during the years of Eskar. I was maturing as a poet, met some fine poets, some of whom I still am in touch with. I am grateful to Neopoet, is was a stepping stone for me to engage with other poets in the letter form, writing comments back and forth. There is a large turnover of poets that join and find community for a time, or years. For me Neopoet is part “ open forum” and part workshop. But as any workshop, live or otherwise, many poets have a tendency to move on.

So for me, Zoom has rendered the platform less relevant. Now we can watch the poet perform AND see the poem, using the file share. I have 2 zoom workshops I host, classical style with a poet reading and sharing copies of the poem around the table for feedback and comments. They are global poetry communities. I do monthly events on Eventbrite: Planet Poetry 28.

Poetry is a spoken art as well as a page art. For me if Neopoet could be a great open mics and allow some time for RELEVENT comment. As you probably know its super easy to do.
This is my take in the post COVID 2021 global changing phenomenon of poetry.

I could perhaps try to promote you, or have you mentioned on one of the segments., such as The Poetry Times. That is the mission of PGN., to promote world news and events about poets.
