of unknown origin

I shouldn’t be here
I am removed in everything,
see within the seed
of unknown origin

I am like a cherry blossom
blooming out of content,
a blood red orchid
persisting in fields
of white petals

after the burst into flower,
I regather the petals,
and see nothing like self

I am,
a wildflower
of unknown origin
flourishing out of context.

and in the pagoda
a lotus smiles

CLEANSING RAIN (edit)

The first warm spring rain falls today
caught by leaves not quite unfurled
as gray clouds swiftly race their way
to other parts of this worn world
where rusty dust turns to red clay.
Wet wind sets maple seeds to spin
they helicopter to the ground
where water starts to build and then
forms puddles from which peepers sound
and washes pollen on its way
while blurring deer tracks on the ground.
It rinses winter's slate all clean
preparing for the summer's green

Nowy Swiat 17:00

A street in Warsaw
Rush hour walkers
Moving with purpose
Unheeding, uncaring
Of those who are the street scene.

A father, a son, a flimsy table.
Portable. folding legs
Street vendors.
Millimetres from mindless pedestrian flow.
Large long impossibly delicate vases for sale
Too many for the table top
Pregnant with the potential
of shattering finality
Worthless shards on the walk below.

T I N C T U R E * n o c t u r n a

a flood of wind
has swept away
the idle horses

mares of night
wind whipped
and stirred

black tack
fast against the
warm blonde wood

whitecaps beyond the
stone cast beach
and safety beacons
a half mile flash
upon the horizon

Mirage words in
prevoked tickle
abreveations
rising

there is enough woe
lost to the tides of
histories lapping
like waves pounding
ideals
from an ache

Until the next time

A thousand,
no ! a million times
I have tried to picture
your face,
but as my memory ages
so does its recall, of you

the first frost came this morning,
I walked barefoot, knowing
you were there with me
the spirit for life
you left inside,
is now my guide
and burns my trail

my feet numb,
I shiver remembrance
and goosebumps form
forever I will look back

I am haunted
by the footprints
that are not
next to mine

The Smell of Life

The smell of life
is drowning into a pool of void.
Closer, death comes, everyday to say "hello you".
The body changes, the taste, the smell, sour and mingeled-
I can taste your decay, swallow my fears with a hard, ragged choke.
For you, I cannot pave a path of spirit, god knows I tried.
I cannot help you with your fears, when you give them no voice.
I do not live in denial, I cannot hold your hand down that road, my friend.
I just stand and watch you struggle to breathe, wondering, hoping, is this the last one?

Maggie's Magic Box

Maggie's Magic Box Limericks
(1)
With gales and in torrential rain,
Maggie Thatcher ensures some last pain.
Cops and army line route,
No doubt ordered to shoot,
And they'll do it again and again.

(2)
I relax with my champagne and smile.
Maggie Thatcher is dead, she was vile.
Let's hope there's no other
To act Hitler's mother,
For the Tories are all in denial

ENSCONSED

Satin hand in velvet glove
Belly to buttocks, bodies enfurled.
Touching lugano- like softest fuzz
Bodies infused,
By this sublime love.

She repeats each word, before it's said.
Internalized and well rehearsed
Silently whispering:
"I know you better,
than what's in my head".

Exalted in the nakedness of Being
abandoned in moments
Not wanton, but wanting
no more than this
Spent feeling.

awaiting some one
who has failed to come...

get up sailor

God has sent you a free gift

Blonde one

and
be this the aim of your life
do justice
as you may wish

sailor now you ought to be happy
the night is still young
a new story

CONTROVERSY

We interact and find a track that leads to sheer digression,
grounds for misunderstandings that lead to sad aggression.
why do we do these things, when we know not all is clear,
we explode with our controversies, and hide behind our fear.

When all along it isn't really what at first was meant,
a sudden thrown out snide remark can make us soon relent,
we jump with our reactions far too fast,
and break up our good friendships made to last.
