GEISHA GIRLS
The winds of winter, gone,
green shoots fan their buds,
the geisha girls of spring are here,
they flaunt their powers,
seduction of the many who admire,
they capture our attention
with their delicate attire,
entice our participation in their dance,
each moment of the day they decorate,
enhance, what would the rivers do
without these ushers by their sides,
the fish need shade, protection from the sun;
so varied in design, of different shape and size,
every one a picture worth, they make the scene
and cause all painters, poets, to sit and dream.

I can't,
I can't understand why no one has commented on this poem, i read this a few days ago and liked it very much. I loved the imagery of the flowers fanning the fish, brilliant. Love Roscoe...

Thank you Roscoe, and today I saw the fist Marsh Marigolds, or King Cups, such an intense yellow, wonderful things, called Bekkeblom in Norwegian, Beck.blooms; they grow near water.
Love to you Ann
