S A F F Y R E

suffuse
velvet violence
grease written stanza

a curled finger of blue
bleeds to heaven
from a smoulder tip

words breathless
swollen lip
sharp and brilliance
this moon
cutting
a slit
through the thick

acrimony
pressed
and leather bound

Pale and parched
on nicotine plans
Sterling ringed
hands

fingers

wanting touch
a stain
a blush
reflecting in neon light
through smeared glass
ignored
heady incense
rises
gods thanked
for this kiss of the kindred
reason for walking
seeing the special green of grass
slits of golden haze
slither upon skin
moments entwined
embraced

essence captured
thank you
you are the master

entranced.....

one can not forget the forgone
whose pale rebellion was captured
and given.....
roped and tamed
ridden and touched..
