F A U X T O G R A P H E E
a harsh skim of sun
has found the bare
thin wonder
the down nadir of dusk
and twilights rush
the dance
and tingle
before the gates of blue
that lay poised beyond
the transom of the window
a weight of an ocean
light as the ghost word
etched
reverse
in the spillway of hearts
beating like a dark
drum
milileu minuet

twine
tip rope dance
beat of the adrenaline rush
jerking the tease
plunging without ease
a microscopic dream
heady rush
breath choked
fantasy ecstasy
jeans tight
thigh outlined
twilight groomed
unmasked adoration
reveals real
touché my friend
thankyou

I remember the sinew arms
the downy soft fore lengths
and upper lips rushing whispers
the cotton weave exotic
beneath our years
drenched in cologne and perfumes
cigarettes and cold winter seeping
in
we lay twisted in the rubble heaps
of passion
spent
wasted
chaste..
the eighties never felt so good
(while the Plymouth warmed up)
