Untouched Beauty
Untouched Beauty
Thistledown pearlescent skin
a concubine with nature’s grin
taught a desperate heart to sin
and relish its desire
innocence began to flee
faster than the honeybee
while this fool on bended knee
tasted liquid fire
eager as a summer’s morn
hips most surely Heaven-born
waiting for the Unicorn
to bow its head and pray
softer than an angel’s sigh
soon her breath became a cry
of ecstacy, and it was I
who sang her soul away
scenes of life may come and go
springtime sun or virgin snow
but rapture I will never know
more succulent than this
nectar from her goddess spring
eternal life could surely bring
sweeter than most anything
and such my lips did kiss
C. Lon R. Bruso

I don't know...
that anyone could have done better for a title.
The content is a love poem, that anyone would be proud of.
It flowed very well and I read it straight through without wondering about any word or line. ~ Gee
