silence screened
a wisk of suffusion
cold confusion

this bright winter
haze deemed
unrepentant and
strong
lets fleeting little
blossoms
un tethered
settle free

blond fields
and rushes
bending
the ice
support the
inches gaining
of drifting promises
an angel of winter

but i remember
the summer slumber
in thick heat
and storm bright
cool formations
of clouds as
brilliant white
on the dark shadow
of their presence
on the lake edge
and river bends
the little ponds
alive with green
fronds

little prizes of fragrance
tender in their angles
and
the muses
in the depths
of days
roaming
softly
beautiful
stirred to life
with a wind
slaking eyes
hungry for the
thirst of beauty
a sip of visions
sure as any
slake of need
