Letter to Anne

I see you dancing
around the radio
holding hands with the
circle of sanity
the flowers in your hair
unnoticed
against your catwalk beauty

as the doctor places you
back on the stage
so the other manics
can dream
of their own
medicinal puppet strings
carving a smile on faces
that for a moment
don't have to look
like
demons

I will visit soon
of this I promise

Thanks for the update, I checked on Anne, all I checked was her books and poetry, good of you to write of her, just realised that she is no longer with us, when time permits I shall have a read of some of her works, you take car and thanks again, Yours Ian.T
