B not 'fraid
We all will be memories one day...
buried or cremated...
as times do change
those buried now
we know don't attend
others funerals in return
yet take up a chunk of land
lots of timber to burn
now electric cremation
is awesome
and
marble for those
who love to be buried....
Just for a day’s visit
every one year
so tis better to be cremated
save the vast lands and woods
and
all memories are the same
in burial or ashes
But it’s a known fact
that all will go
we mourn far longer
than happy times we remember
though we now know
those who have gone
would just not know
still we wish to remain
in the memory wall
of our abandoned domain
we won't know who smile
who laugh
nor do we know ere times gone past
who was the next one to follow
and
crawl near the weeping willow
friend none would know
so let grief slowly go
and undue fear
in minds do not grow...

You say alot in this poem!
A friend of mine told me that when her husband died she had him cremated ( with his permission of course ) - she didn't want to be tied to the grave of her husband.
Others need a grave to visit ( I know of people who visit their loved ones graves regularly ).
I like your title - and the overall feeling of this poem!

may I bow to thee ....mand
your vision is equally
if not more grand
I will//would want the world
to be in a more pragmatic way
in which it reality does see today
tis a deficiency
if you permit me to that say

Better to be remembered for the things you did and not for a body hidden in a rarely visited graveyard or a plaque on a wall some place where ashes are stored, bury me under my flowers and grieve not, let my physical body be recycled as all things will be, as I live on in thoughts, or even the wind in the tree.
When I leave I shall not leave thee,
I shall be in all you think of me.
Take care young Bard, even if there is no-one here to grieve, you will go to a wonderful place, and never forget to pop in for a cup of tea, just as Sadie..
Yours as always is, Ian.T

the human ashes are the remains which can't be destroyed
mainly elements of minerals
hence they should be spread in the fields to be remembered
as they help in the yield .
glad you too are here with me.

HOLY THAN RIGHTEOUS
she apparently meant holey!
So holes in by poetic
BUCKET
are only bigger than my butt
I suppose
but without that
which poet can one expose.
I have since age; eight
have poetry composed
but know nothing still
we all suppose.
and rightly so!

It's not that life is short,
but rather that death lasts so long.
Interesting poem there kid.
A whimsical look at a depressing thought.
