fluer
wilted
this humidity
dross
bleeding colors
in its stain
like a scar
smeared
crash

lost love
lonesome
lead
break the
surface
of the dark
stealing deeds

your flare your dare
your winter white
flank
beneath
the flesh
where the bones
of sunsets
home are
temptress
shadows
curved and supine
where once
the bitter slake
of wine drizzled
and the mists
of perfumed
reigned

draw me as
your serpent
sliding
this heat
this slumber
is a success
sunk slithering
the glass shadows
and bottom
thinned
solutions ache
while stolen
desire
flickers like a
moth against
the warmth
of flesh

feeling the air
stetched out
and exposed

within striking
distance
like lightnings
witness

Well done

you don't usually use such short lines, which run the risk of turning into a list, which you successfully avoided.
Fine work, fine, feelingful, meaningful poetry.

feel it....

sometimes they arrive and often now..
lists and or just contrived pop peices..
but each different enough then the other
like snowflakes..i keep writing about
them...how they are all from the same
design but..different..
crystal..flakes..etc..etc..

over and over
somehow turning out titles
that have no meaning or
lots of meaning..
it was all just to avoid search engines
or prompt them in the beginning...

thank you!

Steve

This piece was extra good, it flowed,
and the theme was there with each short line.
I enjoyed the read, Yours, as always, Ian

thanks ian...

nice to write a comprehensive peice that makes sense..
i know a lot of them are just babble...
nothing worse then the radio with static and ghosts..\
i write like i am
a soul haunted
full of its hate
like a spike
oak and silver
and the day you wake up
and realize that you are
a vampire

then what...

embrace it!!!!!!!!!!!
