THIRTEEN
the links
upon the sprocket whirl
agog with the heady
crush happy girl
headlong
with a speedo spun
a crazy turn
and your daddies gun
you make them all
on your run
Turn and Burn
Beneath a ripe sun
golden hazed
the west coast
seashore
you have made
from midwest
corn belt
thunderous skies
down lengths
of smooth and
angled thighs
Riding out
dangerous
riot and wild
Riding out
headlong
unbroken
and tried
With angels looks
make your mother
cry
Blackheart and
free
Freedom means
to not turn back
but race the day
challenge the nite
the soul that burns
burns fastly bright
speed lash the
urge
lean in with
might
beyond the distance
beyond this sight
..
