XL Day (Oct. Contest)

When talking about the day's measure
I think of it as an X-Large deal,
for it holds in all the treasure;
the intuitive passion that I feel.

I think of it as an expanded well
with a rich spring that never dries,
for it is getting its utmost fill
from precious and so dear eyes.

The day's the bloom and the devoted bee,
that stick together then never part.
Whenever you're around I see
the world of elation that fills my heart.

This is how much I love the day,
and this is how big is its size.
Should I, I have much more to say;
The day is God's gift and special prize.

I'm going to try and participate in the Nov. contest.

I haven't written a small poem in a long while, but I think if I try hard I can write one to beat at least you. If I can do that I know I'm jamming.
Have to watch out for Judy though. She's dangerous. Stan is packing as well.

You don't get my humor at all, do you?

Great win and well deserved, I came third this time, and had to go to Cornwall for nine days holiday as punishment.
I wonder what you will win this time ????
