AU PAIN

white cloud
blue sky
my knees skinned
but I got back up again
put my sunglasses together
oh vanity
kept going
but shook me up

paying bills and running
the run
hit the mall
and it was grand
the young and old
dressed to the nines
and I...forgetting my FUCK OFF
button in red and white name
tag color and pin
nothing in todays world
the army jacket
with its eagle sewn on
he right
the crylliac on the right
black patch
the NO CRUISE MISSILE TESTING
button on the left
black turtle neck
grey shirt popped like some rebel
to a rebellion no one remembers

traded my rez cigs for some pall
malls
got some intel
cheap work
back in to mall
for the pretty smiles
no one wears skirts anymore
its all skin tight denim and
spandex
and bitch boots
and that dual coloured hair
the good girls like me for
some reason
im white bread
in the dangerous
twelve grain mixes
maybe their tired
and want grey poupon
between the slender slices
something racy
and wild like Jasper Johns

Merry Christmas!...

The malls are the best at this time of year. People watching is the greatest! Puts me in mind of when I was a youth. Wonder if it was as good as I remember it? LOL ~ Gee

I would have loved to join you physically in the Mall but spaces and ponds keep me here lol,
Great write I enjoyed it, and you know everyone loves a rebel.
