TIME, MEMORIES AND DREAMS

While sitting here I'm traveling
to both the future and the past
and do so without unraveling
the universe as it was cast.

Memories take me to my youth
or maybe just to yesterday
as surely as some magic booth
where quantum rules come into play.

Dream and hopes, they carry me
where tomorrow and years far from now
make me what I'll some day come to be.
(sometimes they let me down somehow)

I should have frequent flier miles
for all the trips my mind takes me.
Instead I get Sue's puzzled smiles
as she wonders where time's taken me.

A lovely

Trip back an forth Stan.

The line starting "to tomorrow..." I thought perhaps where tomorrow trips better on the tongue. Other than that, this is really an enjoyable read.
