LATCHFREEWILDNEREZ
Potent plump pause
curve stretch cloud
scratched by limbed
black crow studded
outlines
a shawl of escarpment
Exclamatory lights
refreshing pools
of dusk dreams dreary
dance
shoulder to shoulder
the heaps of shelter
clamored in its arms
we were smooth beasts
washing our pelts
with tears of longing
sadness
rekindling
fires
smoldering in
the ruin of the cusp
of ghosts
we were the host
in wind whistled
shiftless limbs
and sacrificial
twilight mercies
a television flickers
the modern votive
of sighing prayers of
breath
the wind trickles
behind the blind
curtains
singing psalms
refreshing bare
the empty lairs

Steve
I detect a longing for the open places that made you so free and safe.
We journey young Wolf to eat to live to be free and being confined in a house of stone scars our souls.
Clouds shield our eyes and rain washes our pathway where all our nows are in rhythm with our inner self, Go well young one and run free in memory or reality, they are both kinfolk to the spirit,
Great write as I moved across the land only pausing to be in love with all things, Yours, Ian..

So potent...
Your words run together in a stream of consciousness that takes one into a completely different landscape for those that have lived it! Memories sigh behind the small breeze that rustles the blinds and the electronic votive flutters. You are better than drugs! Going to have to find a new way to get my fix of MSM, the old lungs have given out. My old lady makes some mean oatmeal-raisin cookies though! Thanks Eskie... ~ Gee
