Left, Never Gone

harbouring from yesterday's fest
thinking what's beyond death
foresee's these future wrecks
ponders inside this beat up chest

as the body lay down to rest
memories flashes before these eyes
smiles creeping its way to place
from rendezvous bliss of haze

Welcome Mariquita...

I haven't seen you here before, but I haven't been on much lately. Not quite sure what the write is about, but it seems to be about an older person watching and participating in some festivities and late that night, while preparing to sleep, wondering about the young ones and what they will feel like when they are as old as you? A little more context until people get to know you and what you write might help on that score. I hope that you stick around long enough for that to happen. Nice thoughts
that you shared here. ~ Geezer.
