Humans Too

They say, let the blacks
mingle with blacks
as if the color of skin
defines a life of sin
but they forget,
the redness they shared
in the blood that flow
yesterday, now and tomorrow.

They say the whites are arrogance,
untrustworthy, unreliable.
In life, they are walking poison.
As if the heart is readable
from the looks of one's race.
All I see is foolish enmity
accompanied with disgrace.

If you sow the seeds of hate
then you support the right to discriminate.
The future that your will generates
will never be the vision of the great.

Blacks,
Whites,
Asians,
Eurasians,
the race doesn't matter
if the soul is filled with grace.
Hold on to your brother
but never judge from the face.

The one you accuse
out of ignorance or muse,
love and hate as you do
breathe the same air as you.

My ms has gotten better so I getting around better w/o a walker or cane. Thus my eyes are better so I hope to be on here more

The soul...

is what you fill it with. Who you are is more important than what you are. Some of the most brilliant minds that the world has ever known, have been hidden in lumps of flesh not easily endured. Race, heritage and status are of no importance and just what you are, not who you can become. Very good story of the things important to a good soul! ~ Gee.

yep, that's what it's all about. A friend keeps on trashing the Chinese and I told him to shut it. It's unfair to judge an entire race because of a handful of scumbags. Glad you liked it.

(By the way how have you been doing? Did you manage to continue with your attempt to quit smoking?)

I expect race will be a problem for at least one more generation then the color of a person's skin will be only mentioned in passing, not as a reason for preferential treatment nor as a basis for discrimination........stan

I've tried looking for part-time jobs to make ends meet before but they keep asking me if I can speak mandarin (Chinese language) I'm not blaming all chinese but some of the emloyers are unreasonable. Take for example, I asked for a security officer post in a hotel and again, they're looking for chinese-speaking. Its not like all of their customers are from china. I mean what the hell?!!!.
