The Road/Man Way

Chomping through mountains
and buzz cut forests,
through avalanche prone passes and
straddled ravines.

Onward, it goes.

Slithering
slowly,
relentlessly.
Snaking its way
now, 'cross desert and plain.
Seeking only distance.
More and more distance.

...Its ever elusive prey.

Hi Brittle Light

Clever - this is a monster consuming everything that get's in it's way, ignoring all dangers and ever hungry. I love the comparison - it's very effective and a reminder of mankind's ever consuming demands!

Thanks for sharing :)
