Rainbow at twilight possibly
I have yet to see a rainbow at night
rainbows are distortions
of sun light white
and
very bright
with seven colours in sight
as in VIBGYOR
all know less or more
violet indigo blue green yellow orange and red
all the above to make sure
'tis a rainbow of yore
and can happen
just as the rains cease
and
sun comes up once more
then alone 'tis a rainbow
that nature does ensure

Unweaving this rainbow..
I would never dream of.. a breath of fresh air Lovedly. We always learned it as ROYGBIV in school, and I imagined a giant in the sky called "Roy" was the one who made the rainbows! Ah to be five again ;)
Thanks.
Chris.

hi old boy
we all must also love Roy
but in my ancient times 'twas
VIBGYOR
7 COLOURS
YOR
U CAN REMEMBER AS
ROY
BUT THE SEQUENCE IN RAINBOW COLOURS WILL CHANGE
YOUNG SCHOOL
ROY BOY
Welcome to my maiden domain
a fan of yours I shall
always remain

Hi Lovedly.
Hi Lovedly.
We always learnt it with ROYGBIV
and the nemonic Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain
Funny isn't it how things round the world are the same and different.
I like this poem very much. Jx
