JOHN'S LAMENT

I see too many as*holes every day
and every day they give me crap.
They stay a while then go away.
This isn't just a mere mishap.

Everybody shows me their worst side
and never turn their other cheek
be they codgers or blushing bride,
from beauty queen to circus freak.

They even sometimes piss and moan
but I stay here taking all of it.
They unload on me while on their phone
like I was made to take their sh!t.

I guess this is my place in life
So I stoically just take it all.
A receptacle for worse than strife
here against the bathroom wall.

*note , "John" is a slang word for toilet

Another remarkable piece written

the fact that you used holes as symbolic makes me think.
you captured in me an inner reflection of thought
being most of are lives some of exist as if in a nomadic herd
searching the fragments of imaginative thought.
everyone has a side to them sort of faces in the window having storms in the night
you hit the head on the head with your logic with this exquisite piece of writing

Pretty damn funny...

makes one think about if maybe inanimate objects had intelligence, what would they think?
I'm reminded of the commercial on T.V. about toilet paper and the frog paper holder with the big eyes and he's saying that he can't forget what he sees. Lol ~ Gee.
