Please thank Joe for letting us know that he is OK, there was such a gap between him being very ill and Richard writing for him that I feared the worse, to top it all it has been 6 months since Our Esker journeyed on and we have only found out at Christmas time.
Also thank him for the great words for Steve (Esker)
I am so sure that there is a place we will all meet again to walk on some distant shore talking in flowing words, where love of all is there in its multi coloured cloths.
Joe I wish you all I can and that your journey here with us will continue.
We think of you so you are!

misses him dearly
and
as for afterlife there is no such thing really
none has gone beyond the grave yard
6 feet deep
including the PHARAOHS whose body decayed

So live in peace
as you may
there is no heaven anyway
but if you have a belief
do stay and enjoy your present days

who am to say what I say
take it or leave it
it's your FAITH
enjoy those who still come by your way
Lovedly missed you and now
is happy for JOE you
that still on the Earth you stay
do meditate and pray

Joe's Health

Joe's condition is such that he is now on home hospice care. He said that I may tell his poetry friends how he is doing. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this, SeaGypsy,

a mark of my friendship with with Joe is that we fought a lot, as I did with Steven.
It is is a sign of respect that I take a poet so seriously as to argue with them.
We are not here at Neopoet just to pat each other on the back, really good poets can take and give serious critique and Joe know's he has my deepest respect.

Joe probably doesn't know it but he has inspired me with both his commentary and poetry since I've been here and before he even knew he had his condition. I had come to consider him a friend as well as mentor. Please tell him I'm sending him all the hope that I can and that everybody here misses and are pulling for him...........stan holliday (scribbler)
