BENEATH THE SHADE

Over head the large limbs soar
As they have so many years before
Kindred to the Ents of yore

There likely will never be
Rings counted in this ancient tree
Even though oak is in demand
Loggers will never rape this land

Knees

Are an approaching problem, not here quite yet. And I know no other word which describes clear cutting as well as rape. I'll try to get to at least one of your poems but instead of half truths I'll tell 100% lies lol

you are welcome stan

how at this unearthly hour
you are awake
am I sleeping or stealing another fantasy to nite
do just tell all lies
and don't you think ever
I won't be surprised

you are right kick up your knees
while there is time still
else some one will say knock ur knees
is Susan hearing your moans
your shivering knees I can
even though Deaf
