Hi folks
For July we're going to have a bit of a quickie contest. Let your ink flow freely as the only rules for this contest is to limit your poem to a maximum of 16 lines. Any subject. Any form. (please remember to put (July contest) next to title and to hit the contest tab. So have at it!........stan

don't know how poems from varied themes can be judged in a contest...hard work for the judge...perhaps a competitive edge would be last is my personal opinion...not aware of a contest which doesn't provide a level field for all contestants...let's see how it pans out... I guess this contest would end on 31st July 2018

This contest will be judged entirely on how much the judge likes the poem. Be assured this month's judge will give equal credence to all forms and subjects so go ahead and let it rip

I tend to agree with raj our poetic expert

Neo's love many restrictions
So as Dreg has won twice
the third one he will also
being a professional
most here like me
are novice
so lay down some /another restriction
a poet will get only three firsts
later like you do
enter with a note
you won't be a winner
as you and Mark often quote

fodder for thought
of masters here
i hope me they also will hear

This contest is simple. Winner will be based upon which poem the judge likes best and the judge will give all forms and subjects equal credence....

Contest rules are pretty explicit.write on any subject in any style the only limitation is number of lines.
