YOU," I say why not YOU built in me
forts; YOU constructed insuperable castles
of trust, YOU turned my quiet breaths to musical
notes, my everyday words turned to lyrics of lullabies
and elysian songs, the hazy eyes then, now draped
in dappled canvas, reflecting colors of YOUR
metaphorical brush, my dry, thirsty lips start-
ed a rich flow, a fountain of ink, I started
to rock and roll on words like
I love YOU. YOUR hearty
world has put in mine
